Responsibilities:

Work with all RGPC regional Operating personnel; communicating customer railcar switch orders, issuing railroad crew work orders, and assisting in train logistics planning & tracking.  Assists with compiling of information /assist with the execution of the railroad service plan.  Must be proactive to communicate / coordinate with other departments, regional personal, and railroad partners in a timely and consistent pattern. 

Work with industrial railroad customers regarding railcar switch orders, logistical plans, and service issue resolution.  Receive information via phone, fax, email or other correspondence and handle said information in a confidential manner.

  • Technical skills and requirements:
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Administrative position
    • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
    • Strong analytical and communication skills
    • Strong understanding of logistics and logistic planning
    • Self-reliant and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility
    • Ability to work with confidential information
    • Ability to pass background check

 Knowledge of railroad industry is very helpful, but not essential.  Drug free work environment.
